Overview
General Marketing Corporation “GMC” is the fashion luxury retail arm of Sara Group of companies in Saudi Arabia. The company was founded in 2003 as part of Sara business strategic plan to enter the luxury fashion retail market, aims to provide a distinguished level of luxury fashion products & services to Saudi customers.
Through General Marketing Corporation “GMC” the group has successfully developed and diversified its investments in the fashion retail sector; by carefully adaptation to the market changes and Saudi customer needs “GMC” has successfully managed its position as a leading company and operator of international fashion brands such as Burberry, Aigner, Salvatore Ferragamo, Etro, Sergio Rossi and Moschino.
Started in 2003 with Aigner and Salvatore brands and re-launch these two brands with five boutiques located and prime locations in Jeddah, Riyadh and Al Khobar cities.
Throughout 2005 and 2006 GMC has invested heavily in the openings of new mono-brand boutiques, selective choice of luxury high end gathering malls for its brands, successfully launch the inauguration of its new boutiques for Burberry, Etro, Moschino and La Perla brands; provide selective range of products that meet Saudi customer taste.
In 2008 a new millstone was added to “GMC” record by openings its boutiques in Rashid new extension, adding a new dimension of luxurious atmosphere to the shopping environment of that area. Offering high-end fashion brands range and make Al Rashid mall the destination for fashion luxury brands in eastern province.
The group continued its success with the opening of its mono-brand boutiques in Red Sea Mall with new four stores for Aigner, Salvatore Ferragamo, Etro and Sergio Rossi. Then the group has witnessed it success with the opening of Burberry new flagship in Red Sea Mall which is the biggest flagship of Burberry in the Middle East area in terms of retail space.
We introduce our portfolio of luxury fashion brands through a distinctive chain of high end mono-brand boutiques and shop-in-shops kingdom wide. “GMC” has redefined the standards of customer service by providing excellent dedication to its customers and perceived as one of the leading companies in this domain.
